How do I turn the FLTR TMP102 thermometer off?
The device will automatically power off after 30 seconds of inactivity. If you wish to turn it off sooner, press and hold the measurement trigger for 5 seconds and the device will power down.
Where should I measure body temperature with the FLTR TMP102 thermometer?
The thermometer’s intended use is to measure the temperature of the forehead. You can measure other areas, however, the temperature ranges change. See chart below.
How far away should I hold the FLTR TMP102 thermometer from the body?
The thermometer should be held between 1.2-2.0 inches away. Don’t measure from further out than 2 inches or you may get an inaccurate reading.
What temperature range does the FLTR TMP102 thermometer measure?
In “BODY” mode, the thermometer is calibrated to measure 89.6°–109.4°F (32.0°–43.0°C). The thermometer will give an “elevated” (ORANGE) alert if the temperature is 99.5°F+ and a “high” (RED) alert if the temperature is 100.4°F+.
In “ROOM” mode, the thermometer is calibrated to measure between 50.00° F – 104.00° F (10.0°-40.0°C).
How accurate is the FLTR TMP102 thermometer?
The thermometer has a medical-grade precision of +/-0.4° F (+/-0.2° C).
How do I switch the FLTR TMP102 thermometer from Fahrenheit to Celsius?
Make sure the thermometer is off. Hold the measurement trigger for 6 seconds until you see the “°F” symbol. Press and release the trigger to switch between Fahrenheit to Celsius. After your selection, hold the trigger down for 5 seconds to save the setting and turn the thermometer off.
How do I turn the sound off on the FLTR TMP102 thermometer?
To turn the sound off, make sure the thermometer is off. Hold the measurement trigger down for 9 seconds until you see the speaker symbol. Release the trigger. Press and release the trigger to toggle the sound on or off. After your selection, hold the trigger down for 5 seconds to save the setting and turn the thermometer off.
