How do I turn the FLTR TMP100 thermometer off?

After 15 seconds of non-use, the thermometer automatically shuts off.

 

Where should I measure body temperature with the FLTR TMP100 thermometer?

In “BODY” mode, the thermometer’s intended use is to measure the temperature of the forehead. You can measure other areas, however, the temperature ranges change. See chart below.

How far away should I hold the FLTR TMP100 thermometer from the body?

The thermometer should be held between 1.2-2.0 inches away. Don’t measure from further out than 2 inches or you may get an inaccurate reading.

 

What temperature range does the FLTR TMP100 thermometer measure?

In “BODY” mode, the thermometer measures 89.6°-109.4°F (32.0°-43.0°C). The thermometer will give an “elevated” (ORANGE) alert if the temperature is 99.5°F+ and a “high” (RED) alert if the temperature is 100.4°F+. In “SURFACE” mode, the thermometer measures 32.0°-212°F (0.0°-100.0°C).

 

How accurate is the FLTR TMP100 thermometer?

The thermometer has a medical-grade precision of +/-0.4° F (+/-0.2° C).

 

How do I switch the FLTR TMP100 thermometer from Fahrenheit to Celsius?

With the thermometer on, press and hold the “Mode” button for 2 seconds. The LCD screen will display “F1” on the bottom right. Press the “Mode” button again and the display will show “F2”. Press the + or – button on the side of the device to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

 

How do I turn the sound off on the FLTR TMP100 thermometer?

With the thermometer on, press and hold the “MODE” button for 2 seconds. The LCD screen will display “F1”. Press the “MODE” button 3 more times and the display will show “F4”. Press the + on the side of the device to turn the volume on. Press the – button to turn the sound off.
