FLTR Face Shields are shipped with plastic film on the inside and outside of the PET shield to protect it from scratches to the shield before use.  This film needs to be removed from the PET shield before use. The product should have been received with tabs along the side of the shield that are used to remove the film.  Be sure to pull on the tabs and remove the film from both the front side and the back side before attaching to the eyeglass frame.
